X–Grips Elite

Designed to Endure. Engineered for Relentless Performance. Manufactured for superior performance and longevity during the most intense training.

The R3 X-Grips Elite are high-performance lifting grips designed to maximize your strength during pulling/pushing movements while protecting your hands from wear and tear and drastically reducing grip fatigue.  Featuring our integrated thickly padded neoprene with a heavy duty 100% polyester wrist strap (inspired by vehicle towing straps) and premium velcro for locked-in security.  Utilizing our 100% heavy duty rubberized mesh unlike standard lifting straps and other companies who use proprietary blends, these grips reduce grip fatigue by locking onto the bar even when hands get sweaty.  Designed to enhance control so you can focus on targeting the muscle—not fighting the bar.

Whether you’re grinding through heavy barbell rows, dumbbell rows, lat pull-downs, pull-ups, rack pulls, or machine rows, R3 X–Grips Elite deliver the stability and hand protection serious athletes demand.

Crafted for durability and comfort, they create a protective barrier between your hands and the knurling of the bar, helping you train harder, longer, and more consistently.

Why Protecting Your Hands in the Gym Matters

✓ Reduces Calluses, Skin Tears & Blisters

High-friction movements like rows and pull-downs create shear force between the bar and your skin. Over time, this leads to painful calluses and even torn skin that can interrupt training.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, repeated friction and pressure are primary causes of callus formation and skin thickening. Using protective grips creates a barrier that reduces direct friction, minimizing skin trauma and helping maintain consistent training.

✓ Improves Grip Strength Endurance During Pulling Movements

In heavy pulling exercises, your grip often fails before your target muscles do. By supporting the wrist and reducing reliance on finger-only grip, straps allow you to maintain tension on the intended muscle groups longer.

The National Strength and Conditioning Association emphasizes that grip fatigue is commonly a limiting factor in compound pulling movements. Reducing premature grip failure allows for improved muscular overload of the back and posterior chain.

✓ Helps Maintain Proper Wrist Alignment

Improper wrist positioning under load can increase stress on tendons and connective tissues. Stabilized wrist support reduces unnecessary extension and flexion during heavy pulls.

The American Council on Exercise notes that maintaining neutral wrist alignment during resistance training reduces joint stress and improves lifting mechanics. Integrated straps assist in keeping the wrist stacked and controlled under load.

✓ Supports Progressive Overload

Consistent training without interruptions from torn skin or grip fatigue allows athletes to progressively increase weight and volume over time.

Progressive overload is a foundational principle of strength training, widely recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as essential for muscular development and performance gains. Protective grips help remove common barriers that limit progression.

Built for Protection & Performance:

May Potentially Reduce Localized Pressure & Nerve Irritation

Strategic center-palm padding cushions the hand against high compressive loads, helping reduce stress on the median and ulnar nerves during heavy pressing.

Protects Against Calluses & Skin Tears

The durable barrier of our rubberized mesh between your palm and the knurled bar minimizes friction, helping prevent ripped calluses, blisters, and painful skin breakdown that can interrupt training.

  Improves Grip Security

Non-slip rubberized mesh materials as well as the R3 Bar Lock (at the end of the grips) help keep the bar positioned properly across/in the “meat” of the palm when pushing/pulling — not the fingers — improving control and reducing bar movement.

  Promotes Proper Wrist Alignment

By stabilizing the bar in the optimal position, the grips help prevent excessive wrist extension (hyperextension), reducing strain on the wrist joint and surrounding ligaments.

  Distributes Force Evenly

Padding spreads load across a broader surface area of the palm, minimizing pressure points and discomfort during heavy or high-rep sets.

Designed NOT ONLY for Serious Lifters and fitness enthusiasts but everyone trying to achieve maximum mind muscle connection and stability

For maximum effectiveness, pair your grips with:

  • Proper bar placement (low in the palm, not in the fingers)
  • Active grip engagement

These grips enhance protection — but elite performance always starts with proper form.

*Before beginning any exercise program or training regimen, consult with your physician or qualified healthcare professional to determine if exercise is appropriate for your individual needs. Participation in any physical activity carries inherent risks, and you should stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Train Hard. Stay Protected. Stay Relentless.

Whether you’re chasing a new bench PR, pulling some heavy load or grinding through volume work, R3 X-Grips Elite give you the protection and stability you need to press and pull with confidence.

Protect your hands. Stabilize your wrist. Own the lift.

📏 V-Grips Elite Size Guide

Choosing the correct size ensures maximum comfort, wrist support, and performance.

⚠️ How to Measure

Wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone. Keep the tape snug, but not tight. Measure in inches or centimeters.  If your wrist measurement is at the maximum listed size or slightly over, we strongly recommend sizing up for the best fit and comfort.

A slightly larger fit ensures:

  • Proper wrist support

  • Full range of motion

  • No restriction during heavy lifts

Size Chart

Small

• Fits wrist circumference: 5–7 inches (16–17 cm)

Regular / Large

• Fits wrist circumference: 7–8+ inches (18–20 cm)
